Beany, a nickname coined in childhood, is the musical moniker of Dublin-bred singer songwriter Caitríona Fingleton. Beany grew up with the sound of Bob Dylan and Nirvana in one ear, and The Spice Girls and The Supremes in the other. And so it’s no wonder that her debut material is a concoction of soul, folk and pop with a zest of girl power.
November 2017 saw the release of Beany's debut single 'Weathervane', produced by Little Wolf Records. The debut track has been listed in Remy's Top 10 Irish Spotify Playlist and has received national radio airplay on RTE Raidio Na Gaeltachta.

"Weathervane is a dreamy and delightful first glimpse at Beany's music, from smooth vocal tones to an old school jazz-hall affection, you feel like she could go anywhere and everywhere with future releases." - Remy's Top 10 Irish

Beany and band are fresh from playing to a full house at The Underground for her single launch party and headlining the launch of the Ranelagh Arts Festival. With an official music video due for release this December and plans to record a further single in January, the new year is looking bright for Beany.
